About SET

This website is operated by SET, a sunglasses brand run by a sole proprietor in South Africa. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

Pre-orders

All SET products are currently sold as pre-orders and are not available for immediate dispatch. Pre-orders close on 15 October 2026. Once the window closes, your order is placed with our supplier. Please allow approximately two weeks for it to arrive in South Africa — delivery to you follows thereafter. Your order is confirmed once payment has been received and you receive an order confirmation email.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR). The price shown at checkout is the total you pay. SET is not registered for VAT. Payment is taken in full at checkout through the payment methods offered there.

Product information

We aim to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and acetate patterns such as tortoiseshell vary naturally from pair to pair.

Availability and errors

We may decline or cancel an order if a product becomes unavailable or if a pricing or listing error has occurred. If this happens, we will let you know and refund you in full.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including the SET name, text and images, belongs to SET or is used with permission, and may not be copied or used without our written consent.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SET is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our products. This does not affect your statutory rights.
